through my eyes

for studio friday.

my little sketchbook is the place where i put all my notes, ideas, thoughts, and doodles that i gather from observing and thinking about the world around me. i'm always looking for interesting things to draw, and more often than not, things that don't stand out to me at the time i see them are the ones that stick with me, and will resurface in my memory later as a point of reference, or the starting point of a new idea or concept.

so my first posting for "studio friday" begins with this self-portrait: observing the world around me through curious eyes.

one more time, SUCH DETAIL AND BEAUTIFUL LIGHTING! THAT TABLE HAS ME IN AWE! and that cup just gets me thirsty haha!

wow, your illustrations are so soft and serene! yep, that is the word SERENE! they make ya wanna sigh and relax back and drink some tea and sit in utter peace... if your art were to be a flavor tea, i'd have to say it'd be chamomile citrus... :)
