running errands

i always get so amused when i see people walking their dogs and simultaneously running errands, whether it be buying groceries, stopping at the bank, or going to a cafe to grab a snack. the dogs always look so cute, teetering along quickly beside their owners on their little feet!

this was such a "busy" picture to paint, so many colors and tiny details. for my next piece, i'm going back to my more closely cropped composition (larger shapes) and limited color palette.
