for studio friday.

i don't have a secret stash of anything in my little apartment, so i thought instead i'd share a glimpse of the books sitting on my windowsill. they range from my favorite big thiebaud book to literary works and journals. my boyfriend keeps adding interesting art and design books to the shelf, and i find myself paging through them when i'm hungry for fresh ideas and images.

i've been so preoccupied with trying to perfect my handmade books that i haven't painted much over the last few days, so it felt really good to sit down with a cup of tea and work on this painting today!
