shoelaces

another painting that i was working on in class. again, i used the blue outline underneath, and then built up thick layers of paint. i tried to incorporate more color, but the overall palette is still a bit too subtle/light. i really like this new stylized look, so i'm going to keep on tweaking it until i'm very comfortable drawing and painting this way.
